The folks at North Country General are doing it right. Good beer, positive atmosphere, and delicious grub. It's been an awesome addition to Jamaica and is a must stop for anyone in the area - skiing at Stratton or Mt. Snow, hiking in Jamaica Forest, or just catching some fall foliage.
North Country General is Fabulous!! We've been here many times and love everything we've had: smoothies (not too sweet, yummy and healthy),the sweet potatoes fries and burgers, kimchi-avocado toast and the Breakfast Sammy!
Super warm and inviting, excellent food and the owner has great wines — not a beer person but everything tried has been tasty.
I ate there during the Jamaica Arts and Crafts show and it was SO good. I had the sundried tomato and pesto pizza and it was amazing. The crust really sealed the deal for me- I've never had anything like it! The store was super cute to shop around while I waited and the owners were fun to talk to. I highly recommend stopping in!
Dean and Alex are super friendly and it's a great spot to hang.
